Alegro

Alegro has been cooking Italian in Prishtina since 2001, with pasta and its famous chicken parm as its mainstays. And while it is officially an Italian restaurant, it is just as much a destination for meat. The steaks, ribs and sirloin are a major draw, usually served alongside homemade pasta. Find it on a quiet street a short step from the centre. Calm terrace and two decades of consistency rather than any trend. Parking on the narrow surrounding streets can be a bit of a gamble, so taking a taxi is often easier.
