Restaurant for a relaxed sit-down dinner

Where do we even begin with this one. Hamari could get away with serving almost anything, because the view is so stunning that you'll be impressed well before the food even arrives.
About a 25-minute drive from central Prishtina, it sits high above the city with sweeping mountain views that make lunch feel like you have escaped civilization entirely.
The menu leans traditional, seasonal and close to the land, but forget the buzzwords and order the lamb. It is slow-cooked, deeply tender, and very possibly the best meat you will eat on this trip. Order the sarma too while you're at it.
This is a place with a devoted local following, but remains oddly under-the-radar online, which means tourists rarely stumble upon it by accident. And then there is the resident Illyrian sheepdog: an enormous dog that might look scary to some, but despite appearances, she's an absolute lovejoy.
If you are looking for an excuse to leave the city for a few hours, Hamari is a very good one.
