Sunny Hill Festival

Sunny Hill is the festival that put Prishtina on Europe's summer map. Started in 2018 by Dua Lipa and her father Dukagjin, born out of the family's Sunny Hill Foundation, it has grown from a park gig into the region's biggest music weekend — four stages, three nights, and the kind of headliners you'd otherwise fly to see.

The 2026 edition is the strongest bill yet: Katy Perry opens Friday night, Lewis Capaldi carries Saturday, and Martin Garrix closes the weekend, with Seth Troxler, PAWSA and Keinemusik's Adam Port & Rampa keeping the C4 stage moving until sunrise. Gates open at 13:00 and the last set ends past 04:00 — treat it as a marathon, not a sprint.

The four stages split the park by mood. The Sunny Hill Stage holds the headline run from early evening; C4 is the house-and-techno room that only really gets going at midnight; The Satellite belongs to local selectors all afternoon; and the Next Stage is where Kosovo's newest bands and rappers get their shot.

That local half is the point. Sunny Hill doubles as the best yearly snapshot of where Kosovo's music actually is — Dhurata Dora in the prime Friday slot, the Lumi B, Ledri Vula, MC Kresha and Lyrical Son posse cut before Capaldi on Saturday, and a dozen more from the scene. A detail worth applauding: the MindCheck Corner, run with psychology experts, University of Prishtina students and the Mbështetu team. It's a quiet corner to catch your breath when the crowds get much — the kind of care most festivals this size don't bother with.
