The typographic monument marking Kosovo's 2008 independence
NEWBORN is a typographic sculpture spelling the word in block capitals, unveiled on 17 February 2008 as Kosovo declared independence. Repainted each year with a new theme, it stands in front of the Palace of Youth and Sports and is the city's signature photo stop.
