Prishtina
ODA Theatre
Independent theatre in the Palace of Youth

Ask anyone who's spent time in Prishtina's arts scene and they'll have an ODA story. ODA is far more than a theatre. It's one of the places that helped shape Prishtina's independent cultural scene.
Since opening in the early 2000s, it has welcomed everything from small high school productions to acclaimed local productions to visiting plays from across the region, while also becoming a launchpad for generations of artists, musicians and performers.
After the curtain falls, actors, directors and audiences all end up in the little lobby bar mingling and having beers. For years, you could smoke inside, a small detail that somehow became part of ODA's mythology.
Few places capture Prishtina's creative spirit quite like this one. Shows are criminally cheap, and somehow, for students they're even cheaper.
